Teas That Tell Stories

Lorica Tea started in 2017 from a simple truth: I make teas because I grow things.

After a frost took most of what I grew, I didn't want whatever I grew the next year to go to waste. I dried them, blended them, and discovered the power of native Yaupon. What began as a way to save a harvest has grown into a practice of doing the really real—brewing, growing, and participating in the work of making that which is true.

Lorica Teas are the result of that work. We use forgotten plants—resilient herbs ignored by big agriculture but packed with nutrients. From Texas Yaupon to Himalayan roots, every ingredient is selected to nourish and restore.

We grow many of our key ingredients at Good Tilth, either offering them in our blends or as plants for you to grow yourself. This includes our native Yaupon and Moringa.

Our teas are different.
Our Practices:

To ensure you always have access to the highest quality, we partner with a network of ethical, regenerative growers who share our "Above Organic" standards.

  • Moringa: Sourced from a collective of small-scale farmers in Florida and Texas.

  • Yaupon: Sourced from sustainable, wild-harvested growers in Louisiana.

  • Herbs: Sourced exclusively from certified organic partners.

Whether grown by our partners or us, every leaf is Above Organic.

Our teas are more than just a drink. They are a daily ritual to nourish your body and transform your health, one sip at a time—and an invitation to grow your own.

Faeth Fiada : Lorica Sancti Patricii

Small Batch Teas. Forgotten Plants. Regenerative Roots.

"Lorica" is the Latin word for a breastplate—a suit of armor worn for protection."

In the ancient world, a lorica was more than a shield; it was a symbol of readiness. It stood for the strength to face the day and the resilience to endure. At Lorica, we craft our teas to be your daily armor.

Whether you need morning energy, evening rest, or mental clarity, our blends are designed to guard your journey.

We combine centuries of herbal wisdom with modern research to help you thrive.

Each box makes 24–30 cups and can be brewed twice for maximum potency.
